Children's Ministry on Sundays

We love to welcome children at Chester Road Baptist Church, and our Sunday mornings include children's groups and areas for those who would like to use them!

Children are invited to begin the service in their age programmes (with rooms/ activities open from 10:15am) and then join the service at 11:15am.
All their volunteers/staff are DBS and reference checked for their suitability and your child’s safety.



0-4s - Spark (Lighthouse Room)
For our 0-4s, we have our Lighthouse Room! This is our well-stocked creche room, where the service is live-streamed onto a screen, so guardians can still follow along while playing with their children. However, if you prefer, you are welcome to keep your baby/toddler in the service; we have a designated 'creche pit' in the main sanctuary. We aren't scared of some joyful noises before the Lord, so please don't worry about your little ones making some sound!
On the 2nd Sunday of each month, Spark is manned, so guardians can enjoy the main service while their children are entertained by our lovely team!

4-11s - Glow (Primary Room)

Glow is our Sunday morning group for children in school years Reception to Six (i.e. aged 4-11 years), and meets in the the Primary Room. Registration and activities are available from at 10.15am. On arrival, parents/ carers, please accompany your child to their age group room and register them. For each child registered, you will be given a unique wristband to wear. At 11:15am, when the children return for the final section of the service, parents/carers will need to exchange their unique wristband for your child. Parents/ carers must remain in the building at all times. This is for your child's safety and security.
